I have just weeded out the vege garden that we inherited with this house - it was over grown. Have planted tomatoes and lettuces. I am a complete novice though, but hopefully I will learn. I am a vege garden virgin

I think companion plants are plants that act as natural bug repellers when planted beside particular plants.
I only know coz a friend of mine recently planted some - can't tell you what kind but youc an probably google it.
I know nothing about gardening - my garden is becoming grass!I have been hassled about it- it is terrible! hubby and I have planned to work on it next weekend!

Companion plants are when you plant things together that encourage each other to grow. ours need a tidy up - and I hate gardening...even more so since I found a frog in our garden last time...actually found him twice cause was told that I was imagining it the first time, went back kept weeding he jumped out at me again - ummm I screamed until DH removed it...and then was very careful in garden...

All my veges are planted and i've been feeding them regularly and weeding the gardens often - so there are no weeds at all. Now I have nothing to do out there, what can I do in the garden???
