lol - well... until she's about 3 maybe

I like the snagless hairties on actually - because 1) they really aren't ssnagless, and 2) you can use them fairly early on and know they're not gonna fall out and they're pretty darn hard for them to pull out without getting a bit ouchy.

Last night i had a baby shower and got everyone to write down tips on caring for baby girls, seeing as i have only experienced boys.
I got some great words of wisdom and wanted to share some of them here...

teach her that she can do anything

remember that you are a girl too - so whatever she's going through you'll already have experienced, coped with and learned from. Try to hold on to that thought when she's doing things that drive you insane.

just enjoy her as a baby. she will not be little for long

wipe front to back

when trying to grow girls hair out, use snagless hairties. This one was accompanied by a packet of snagless hair ties!

baking with mummy

long sleeve pink onesies (dome ups) go under everything, even blue overalls and jeans - means baby will always look like a girl and you can re use the boys clothes.

oh and this from a friend with no children...

DO NOT GIVE YOUR CHILDREN TO ME TILL THEY ARE 21

All the words of wisdom were much appreciated and i will be keeping them for my daughters baby box.
