She sat down with her OBGYN and was totally open and honest about how she was feeling, and between them they decided she would have the CS. I think that as long as your hospital will do elective CS's then you should definitely request one if that is what you want to do

If I have another one, I'll be having an elective CS for sure.

You don't have to make the final decision about how you birth till very late in the game, so even if you plan for an elective c-sect and then at the last minute decide you want to trial a labour and VB you can always change your mind, the key thing is having an LMC who will be supportive whichever way you go.

Our hospital dosen't do elective C sections here anyhow, so that might be something you might want to check out. Talk to your Dr, maybe, they would know about funding and who to talk to next etc. Good luck and I hope you get what you want! And for the record, I ended up having miss C Vb, and it was super easy this time... (and I eventually got an emergency appt with the sick OBGYN on my due date, who said she would be on standby when I was induced and they would give me a csect at the first hint of anything I couldn't cope with... Didn't help with the not going into labour thing, though...)

Big hugs to you...
