As fattartsrock said, it can mask any reactions that may occur. Unfortunately, jabs are worse for parents...your bubs isn't going to remember (these early ones at least). I distracted Bella by looking and smiling at her while they did it, and then boob straight after, pamol when I got home and LOTS of cuddles. If Oliver is getting the MenzB keep in mind that his leg is going to be quite tender afterwards. So be careful with him when picking him up etc... I put a warm flannel on Coopers leg when we got home and that seemed to help.]]>

I didn't do this after the 6 weeks jabs and she woke up about&nbsp;3 hrs after we got home screaming in pain (and she never normally cries), so for the next 2 jabs I have given her a small dose of pamol and she has been fine. </P><P align=left>Good luck for Wed </P>]]>

He was pretty normal for most of the day and then kicked into a wicked temperature at bedtime.  Gave him Pamol and then just kept a watch on him thru the night. He was fine. Slept well. Pamol rocks!<br /><br />He was a bit grizzly the next night too. I fed him straight after the shots as we had to wait around for about 20 mins afterwards. Pamol takes about half an hour to work so best to give it to them beforehand. ]]>

So perhaps just keep in mind that they may get easier <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0"> other than that, lots of cuddles and feeds. You might find that Oliver will sleep a bit more on the day of and day after the jab.<br /><br />They're all different, though, so anything can happen!]]>
