I am putting it down to teething (he has FIVE teeth now) and trying to crawl. He has all the motions, he just can't quite get there. But he just keeps getting tooth after tooth after tooth and I am thinking that is why I'm not getting much sleep. Bonjela and pamol help a wee bit, but because he's getting lots of teeth at once, the pain, mixed with the heat is just putting his good sleeping right out the window.

Hope Jack starts sleeping through soon!

Does he kick off his blanket?
When he wakes up, is he hungry, need nappy change, cuddle, seem in pain ie teething or does he just want to play?
Gina has the same day sleep pattern - she sleeps twice and each one is about an hour. But she never goes to bed at night before around 8:30-9:00.
When she's teething, Gina normally wakes up thru the night too, but she is crying loudly and you can see she's in pain - normally some Pamol, Bonjela and loads of cuddles (and about 1/2 hour rocking ) get her back to sleep. She went thru a period a like that a week ago or so but it only lasted a few days and although we could see the top tooth that was bothering, it never really popped up. Also he has learnt to shuffle backwards to reach the toys outside his cot which I caught him doing earlier last night.

I do wonder about teething, but has been going on for awhile now. *yawn*

Have you tried bringing him into your guys bed? We do this with Daniel when he's doing that kind of nonsense. He usually gets one good night sleep with us then goes back to normal

Last night he was up at 12, 2 and 4am, once I was given a bottle, but he just was not interested in sleeping. We are starting to get very sleep deprived in our household and I don't know how to stop this pattern. He is at day care now and is often exhausted when we get him home from there so is in bed early (6.30) but he used to go to bed early and sleep 12 hours anyway.

Any ideas to try and go back to how things used to be would be greatly appreciated!
