I'd go back and get the Doctor to take a swab to see what the infection is. Then you will know for sure if antibiotics will help. <br />Other than that a warm wheat bag helps sometimes if she will let you put it to her ear.]]>

Mind you, the last 2 days are the first days she has actually taken the full doses without spitting most of it out...]]>

I have fund that if Isla hasnt improved in a day or 2, then she wont on that antibiotic. Go back to Dr , or ring them up and check with the hurse. I think they are likely to change the antibiotic she is on.<br />Hope she feels better soon.]]>

However, she seems worse not better.  She is quite miserable, not wanting to eat or play and is tugging at her ear a lot.  When we started the antibiotics the infection was only in the left ear but I'm suspicious about the right one now too.  Granted, she spat a lot of the antibiotic out for the first few days but I still would've expected an improvement by now.  Should I take her back to doc or what until the course of antibiotics is finished?]]>
