OH OH...That makes 2 of us...IM out for it aswell...We've got plunket at 1pm....

Manz Naomi and Mikayla have got lots in common than we relise....

Big Ballz up tonight with Naomi being a grumble bum . We went to a bbq on glengarry rd...(friend of a freinds) Lotsa babies there too...One even a month older than Naomi...Anyhows she was ok for part of it but kept fighting and fighting to stay awake so she over tired herself and cried and cried and cried ...We kinda enjoyed it but not as much as we woulda liked too...I had packed everything. nappies, change of clothes, pamol, bonjela nappy wipes her milkes...Girl Guides Law "Be prepared"....We used both the Pamol and Bonjela..She had a sleep for about 20-30mins at the bbq....Shes had very little sleep today unfortunatly Poor Girl ....I made a big mistake today/this morning. i went in to help my partner finish his work this morning, we took naomi in..So then after i had finished naomi and i came home, grabbed my mums bday present, got naomi changed, and took my mums present over to her (her bday 2morro). Then cam back home just after 2pm...Then we left for the bbq around 3.3pm,,,but before that we gave her a bath etc....

talk about being a bad mother - its partly my fault shes hardly had any sleep

on a better note - she likes being rocked/swung gently back n forth in her blue carrier sleeping bag....it helps get her to sleep...

It's my stepsons mates birthday on Saturday too Ferny.. they're off to Waiwera for the day, so that should be nice for them.. especially if the weather holds out!! maya there is parking there for 120 mins, and 60 mins and i think 30 mins?? too.

on that one way road thats got grass on both sides, that comes out onto that road in the domain that takes u out onto the main road, you can park there on either side. JUST NOT ON THE GRASS..ul be lucky if you can find a park over by the trees where the toilets are....Either way theres Heaps of parking areas. just some areas have different time limits..We'd only be an our or so at the most anyhows....There is parking up by the museum too..I should know all those parking spots and time limits etc cos we parked in the domain when i was pregnt with Naomi each time i went for my checks there and what not....

If i didnt know any better id know the domain inside out lol...

What about the Domain??  theres a cafe there by that one way road that you can walk up to get to the hospital...There should be some shady areas on the grass too..

or is that abit too far for some or all? Just an idea anyhows.....im open to other suggestions.

Whats everybody doing Easter weekend. I'm busy Friday but I won tickets to the Easter show so if there is a meet up at Greenlane another day I could do that first.

It went okay, it was a little awkward with a few of those 'silent moments' but I think we'll be okay. He loves his grand daughter and was absolutely besotted by her..
He lives in Matamata, so has decided to make the journey a few times a month to visit us which is lovely.. Next time we are going to go back with him and stay a few nights down there to have a really long catch up. Also said he might have a car for us (He works at Matamata Holden) so that'd be nice

Looks like we are out now for get togethers on Wednesdays for this term at least. We have joined Jumping Beans which meets on Wednesdays. Neeks, at this stage I'm on for next Wed, you & Keziah are welcome to get a ride again, there should be plenty of room for your stroller as well. Just as long as nothing changes...

Also keen to check out Sylvia Park one day too, have only been there once since I finished work in September! I keep meaning to, but trying to avoid malls as I'm trying not to spend money...I'm doing a Plunket course on Thursday morning's for the next 6 weeks, just Parent Education, but thought it might be good - it covers from 6wks to 1year I think. I also went to a meeting about a walking group, walks twice a week on Tues & Thur at 9.30am, but I'm not sure I can get to the places they're going by 9.30, Mikayla usually only wakes up about 8.30-9.00. Will see how we go, anyway, I'm sure we can work out something.

lol i havent been there. ANyhows i went to the warehouse yesterday and bought a top and some half cut denim pants, a few hours later after i got them, the clip thingy falls off!!   GGRRR!! BLOOMIN QUEER HOUSE!  Anyhows i took them back, they didnt have another size left in the size i got, and the only, THE ONLY place that had THAT SIZE was SILVIA BLOOMIN PARK!  no other warehouse stores had my size!!!   so i got my money back and just went with the top.

We missed out on taking Naomi a walk today cos it was pissin down  You doing a late night geekin Neeks huh?? lol..

I can't make it next week but it doesn't matter as I probably wouldn't have made tomorrow anyway.
Next Wednesday my work(Auckland processing centre) is having a get together with our Hamilton office. As eventually Auckland will be shutting down and they are trying to encourage us to move to Hamilton, so they think if we get to know the staff down there the prospect of moving wont be so bad.
We (DH and I) are still not sure what we want to do, we work together so we would both be made redundant or we would both be moved to Hamilton. I've lived in Auckland since we came from England when I was 2 so I'm not really keen on moving. I think getting the redundancy might be a good chance for me to try something new. oh neeks, meet up with him... i havent always had a good relationship with my dad...(not quite the same as your situation however) but i have worked hard to try and maintain some wort of relationship, if not for mine but my kids sake. its not always easy but it has its moments too...

Neeks - As much as it is hard to forgive - FORGET the past....Try forgiving and move on.....It might bring you more closer to him?...My sister (shes 26 now) I used to really give her a hard time back when living with my folks..(many moons ago now) But thats another story. Anyhows my nan, and our folks used to say "some day you and your sister could be really great friends"....How right they were!!! The memeories maybe still there tho?? But she has moved on and Forgiven me...

Neeks I think its wonderful that he has contacted you and that he has made the first step to building a relationship with you again and that he wants to meet Keziah.

I think you should just perhaps get to know him again and start afresh, hopefully you can get to see him by himself, without her around so you can actually start to bond again.

I have been through something similar and as hard as it is forgiving and forgeting, it has helped me move on from the past that I now wish to forget!

I'm kinda nervous about seeing my dad again.. it's been more than 2 years since we've had anything to do with him and he never wanted anything more to do with me after he married my wicked step mother and SHE kicked me out of home when I was at my lowest , but now I have a daughter (his first grand daughter) he suddenly gets the balls to write to me stating he wants to get on good terms with me again..

I'm hoping to be there, got a pretty busy week, so will depend on how Mikayla is going, she gets a bit grizzly when we've had a few days out in a row, but am only out for a couple of hours each day, so hopefully she'll be ok.

So, there's only going to be a few of us, shall we sort out who's bringing what?? I'm happy to bring some rolls & bits to put in like Peachy usually does, as she prob won't be there... So, it's Me, Ferny, Maya - anyone else?? Shaz?? Justme?? And where do we go if raining - welcome to come to my place in Glen Eden if you want? Iv just been down to countdown, got Naomi some Bonjella cream/jell and some teething rings, and 1 jar of watties pear flavoured food..give that a shot...I feel sorry for her suffering the teething pain . Yet we've all been thru it now we have to watch our babies go thru it....Its kinda like you feel their pain with them  Its so sad watching babies upset cos of teething... and they cry for hours on end

I didn't have to do the naked dance outside in the rain.. the poor rain.. I would have freaked out & dried up in horror if I had seen me dancing around outside in the backyard naked lol!.. not to mention the poor neighbours

We went this afternoon, not quite the same in the daytime as the lanterns aren't as affective but still pretty good and we ate lots of food and spent lots of money we didn't have. The weather is so crappy again today Looks like both of the events we were going to will be off, and we will probably be stuck here all weekend now. I hate not doing anything in the weekend.
Oh well we have an early dinner at MIL's Sunday.
