Hehehehehe B works in a bank too in the call centre also as a team leader...he often says the same thing!!!

I'm pleased to say that today has been off to a better start for me....one loverly UK caller and one loverly Aussie caller! YAY for nice people!!!

I work in a bank and lately we have been getting rudely talked to. Awww hun big hugs. im totally with you and hate mean people esp ones that take out their stress from other situations!

I heart christmas and just dont understand why people dont just chill out and take a breath. My motto to these highly stressed people is "calm dont, you'll give yourself an ulcer"  lol

Oh, I totally sympathise!
I work in retail, in a mall. The crowds of tense people is just insane!
I also find it laughable that they blast christmas carols about spreading good cheer and it being wonderful and la-di-da.
I absolutely LOVE christmas too. But when you get cranky people coming in and yelling in your face because someone else hasn't done their job properly it's not nice.
But then you get those that are just mean spirited and just want a good bitch.
Awesome.


There are so many things for people to be concerned about these days. (My heart goes out to anyone living in Gizzy right now!!). Yet there's always someone that thinks it's the end of the world when their cell phone won't send text messages, or can't get through because they can't answer simple security questions (which are in place for a reason!).

Just boils my blood!

The other day I popped into the mall to get some stuff for coffee group and then had to go into the main part of the mall.

The place was jam packed with grim faced people racing here, there and everywhere. Allt he while the music was playing: It's the most wonderful time of the year!

what annoys me is that you don't have to be rude to get the job done. I had a lady yesterday that started to go off as she had been transferred all over the place when she was trying to put through a claim. I don't work in claims so there was no way I could help her but she went off. To be fair, she shouldn't have been trasferred so much, but I can't help you so I will have to transfer again. She ended up calling back and appologishing which was nice!

Hope you day improved, and if not, hang up on them!!!

Yeah thankfully my day has been ok since then...though I've heard a few more calls on this end that have obviously been people being really difficult and rude.

Its so sad isnt it that people get so stressed at this time? And for what? I LOVE Christmas time and spending time with family and having time off etc. Maybe I'm just naive, but I really hope I dont change as I get older and have older kids.

This time of year sucks for people being like that on the phone. I had it all the time during the xmas period I worked on the phones. It was my fault that the person's number they wanted was unlisted.

It all started going bad last night when the last call of the night was a horrible guy who kept me 20 mins past my shift and was rude to me to the point where I ended up telling him off!

Still feeling blah about it this morning B said no worries...all you need is a nice caller to start your day off right!

Did I get it? No!

I got a horrible caller who objected to the security measures we take before giving out info and accused me of being high and mighty and treating her like a criminal and berated me for about 10 straight mins. For the first time I that I can remember in my career with the airline I got off the phone and burst into tears!!!

What is it with people at Christmas? We're all under pressure too and stressed so what the heck gives them the right to think they can be horrible to us????

ARGHHHHHHHHHH!
