Good luck Bel. I had 2 done in 2004 and generally found the worst part was waiting for results. Like kebakat said a bit uncomfy . It's never affected my driving..

It shouldn't have any effect on you at all. You should be able to drive as you aren't having any drugs. Just don't watch the TV screen as that might make you a tad sick

Hi there,

I have been searching through the threads for help on this one, and haven't found an answer, but see that lots of you have been through this.

I have had 2 abnormal smears and have to have a colposcopy. I am booked in for Thursday. I just want to know what a colposcopy involves and what kind of effect it might have on me.
