I use aqueous 3 times a day for Alize to keep his eczema at bay and Im waiting on my "pot of gold" cream to arrive. I also use Lipobase which you can get from the pharmacy. It has 2 types the lipobase and the lipobase repair.

I might get some Lemnis Cream next time we are at the dr.

list of ingredients: water, vege glycerin, witch hazel, vege emulsifying wax, shea butter, oils of -almond, grape seed, coconut, apricot kernel, jojoba, calendula, sesame. collodial silver

Keeping it moist helps, & cool as you have found the more you itch the worse it gets, until you get to a really insane itch & theres just no stopping you from itching then.  On a mild case you could try just cold milk - have some in a container in the fridge with a cotton ball eg.  you can also put pinetarsol in as this is a great anti inflamatory.  you can also soak some rolled oates/porridge in some water wraped in muslin, keep it in the fridge & dab on when itchy - this was a remady from a natrapath (sp)

A good cream to put on is Lemnis Fatty cream, I found it better than aqueos cream as the water content isn't as high & if there is a break in the skin aqueous cream can sometimes sting a bit.

If you get a prescription from Dr ask for the ointment option rather than a cream, this moisturises the area better than cream and lasts longer

Coloidial silver cream is also good, expensive but you dont need much so cover large areas

For those that suffer from Excema what do you put on your skin or your childs skin to stop the itchiness?? My arms are so itchy and i'm trying really hard to to scratch but I am giving in every now and then  and then they become even more itchy.
