lol When I first saw this topic I was going to suggest that screaming is the easiest way to get in to their mouths to give teeth a proper going over but then I thought people might think I was a bit sadistic.

I made it part of Kiya's bathtime at first, cause then she could play with the brush afterwards, and it didn't end up on the floor when she got bored! I was at plunket yesterday for Ryan and Katelyns 5 month check up and she told me that as soon as they get teeth start brushing them so they get used to the tooth brush. jake likes to brush his own teeth too. It helps if he brushes them with me, cause he imitates me. I guess Josef is a bit little for that though. yep straight away is good - helpl them get used to it too for when they are old enough to brush their own teeth too. yep you can start brushing straight away. You dont have to use toothpaste if he doesnt like the taste. if he wont let you brush with a brush you can use a muslin cloth. OR you can buy those little brushes that go on the end of your finger.

Both my girls had teeth at 3 months. Lissy was never a problem to brush and Jayde is still a nightmare. I make a sound like ahhhhhhhhh and get in and out as quick as i can. Well Joey has his first two teeth (bootom front) and I basically just want to know when to start brushing them?? Or when you guys did anyway.. I have read to start straight away?

I bought a little toothbrush the other day (sooooo cute ) and "My first toothpaste" so am all set but it seems a little weird as he is so little, lol
