I haven't been back to the GP, I just started using Prozac again (the Citalopram started giving me massive headaches) and have been on it for about 5 days now. Feeling great so am going to stay on this, I have about 2 months supply. Will be going to see the doc at the end of the month for other stuff so will talk to her then about swapping back. I def need to be on something tho, stopped taking the Citalopram when the headaches started and turned psycho again. Yep same here, i am trying to shake it off at the meoment but despite exercise and eating better, it's not shifting. Problem was that Aropax really agreed with me except the weight gain. Hence coming off it. Tossed up the feeling good and putting on weight thing but decided in the end that if I got any bigger I would actually start to feel worse cause of the weight going on and my physical appearance!

Weighed myself again this morning (am a bit of a serial weigher) and found that I have managed to get 2kg off since stopping. I have also been peeing like nobody's business so I wonder if some of it was actually fluid retention. LOL I was the same, I just ballooned and couldnt understand why...Then it dawned on me the meds. Ekk I started asking around as I have a few friends who are GP's and they said yes the meds can cause usual weight gain in a short amount of time. Wish I had known sooner I would have gone with something else.

the weight gain is a side effect of a few of the antidepressants, I know of someone else on Aropax who had the same problem hehe maybe we need to be subscribed weight loss pills in the same prescription as the ad's
