I've been reading a book on fertility awareness method FAM, for conception or contraception, whichever you want. Anyways, you need the BBT thermometre because you are not measuring a fever, you are measuring very subtle changes in temperature between 36 and 37 degrees, and apparently the BBT thermometre has the appropriate markings for this (and is usually digital and has 2 decimal points, eg 36.54C. My understanding is that a BBT will tell a temp to 2 decimal points, so, say mine has been 36.7 every morning so far but it may be 36.78 or 36.71, I think it is a very subtle temp change you are monitering when you chart.
