Or I would sleep on my back, but I feel funny when I do that now and always end up rolling over onto my side. I find I have to sleep on my side with a pillow between my legs and one under my belly so I cant sort of lean on it but not lie on my tummy, I find that the best position for sleeping.
I have back issues and my MW basicly said this to me "women have been sleeping what ever way they find comfortable for years without knowing the benefits of sleeping on your left side, so sleep how ever YOU find comfortable" so thats what Ive been doing.
My mum said she used to make like a hole for her bump out of pillows and sleep on her tummy lol

Edited by Sheza

(doesn't leave many options does it!!!). I read that you can elevate yourself slightly with a towel/blanket under the rightside so you are on a slight angle and that then allows you to still sleep on your back.
