We use Huggies and have had it happen a few times in a year so not very often. We found a similar thing, and it turned out that those nappies (they were huggies) were just no good for her. Topsy, I have side sleeped Mac from birth also and have had this happen 3 or 4 times. I can't work out why it is either as is not a size thing and happens randomly. Size is definitly ok as she just went up a couple of weeks ago. I think I might try a bodysuit under her onesie as it would kind of "support" the nappy.

I have started sleeping Bella in a sleep wedge due to her starting to get a flat head on one side however sleeping this way has made her nappy leak from the top.
