Cool scan pics! When I had scans for my kids the 3D ones weren't around then!

Joelle posted a pic of a scan at 11 weeks, with an arrow pointing at 'bit's. My understanding is that you cant really tell the sex until about 19 weeks? I don't know if her scan is 3D as it was just a large closeup lol. Or perhaps the arrow was pointing at baby, not bits lol.
Anyway...just wondering if you can now tell the sex earlier in scans? Thanks.

I'm still trying to work out how to tell the difference between girls and boys scans.
My scans in just over a week and even though we said we don't wanna find out, I still wanna kind of see if I can work it out!

Hand waving and arms and legs!

Not the best quality yet as they are photos of the printouts. I'll be getting the disk at 18 weeks with all the pics from 9 weeks!

Here's my wee bubba at my 12wk scan. All 6cm of him or her!! Got lots of pics - some are a little freaky, like the brain, spine and chambers of the heart! I had to take photos of the pic sheets stuck to my window, so sorry they are not that great.

First is bubba when they measured crown to rump, and the second is an arm... though not sure where or how it connects to a body!!

True. Maybe just the way the pic is taken. You can see in mine it is only a tiny dot in the corner. But it was 1.07cm, so I guess not that little compared to yours.

heres mine - the sonographer said she doesnt like taking pics of "bits" as she thinks its mean. (id asked for a pic to prove it was a boy!)
but looking through my scan pics im pretty sure this is a shot of his testicles?

I didn't want to know what flavour I was getting so they couldn't scan the lower parts for these ones, it would have been a bit hard to disguise the dangly bit.

This isn't a "between the legs" shot, but the sonographer could tell from the lack of "dangly bits" that she was a girl..
Baby is lying face down, spine running across the top of the pic, head at the right, bum to the left...nothing hanging down...
