We have winter weight Grobags which were around $70 each from Baby Stuff, and summer weight Living Textiles ones which were about $40 each from The Sleep Store. I brought Coopers one from Baby Factory for $20. I reckon I'll be able to use it for all seasons, and just adjust what he wears to bed.

The other alternative is a PekeMoe which he used for awhile. You can get them in summer and winter weight.

I have a merino Go Go bag. I bought the standard and winter weight ones when they were on special last year from the Sleepstore.

Can't be more happier with them! It's become apart of our getting ready for bed routine. Cooper knows that when it comes out it's time for bed (but not always sleep with my child! )

I have bought on from TM to try it, as I am not sure whether our boy will like it or not - he loves to be able to kick his legs about, so figured best to try before spending a tonne of money on a good one.

Lol oh see that just proves I'm away with the fairies ...didn't even notice it was for 2 LOL! How silly of me!

Not sure if I'd reduce myself to buying one from the warehouse but Farmers maybe ...They have some pretty good sales on every now and then (just a shame the Papakura store sucks ...will have to travel to botany for a wee look around)!

Lol! Thats for 2- and they last longer so instead of buying 3 different sized ones you can use them the whole time. But yeah, they're pretty pricey! You can definitely get cheaper ones from farmers and I'm sure the Warehouse used to stock some. And I'm guessing I'll require more than just the 1, especially with winter weather and drying linen/clothes! ....Totally wasn't expecting those kind of prices ...

I think we definitely need them though (will shop around first being splashing out that much - thats for sure) ...our room is sweltering in the summer, and absolutely freezing in winter - It's crazy!

What brands is everyone else using?

Sounds like a sleep sack would be perfect for him. I have a couple of grobags and a couple of GoGo bags. The GoGo bags are cotton and merino (so great for temp control and for winter) and the grobags are just cotton I think? You can get different Togs- so 0.5-1.0 Tog are summer weight and then up to 3.5 Tog for winter weight.

Grobag do a size 6-18 months and GoGo bags are from NB to 2 years. You can also get cheaper ones from Farmers etc- I know they stock lined fleece ones (Snuggle sack or something) that have full arms and are pretty warm.

Ferrit stock them and the GoGo bags are on special at the sleep store

Okay I've seen a couple posts about sleeping bags recently ...and now I'm wondering if they are the answer ...

Lucas plain refuses to have any sheets covering him, which of course is fine in Summer months/hot muggy weather but I am rather concerned that when it gets to Autumn/Winter he's going to freeze his sweet tush off ...so is a sleeping bag going to solve this issue? ...Where do you get them from? And how does the sizing for these work? ....what age do they go up to? And what am I looking for in a sleeping bag ....any specific materials that it should be made out of etc etc?

He doesn't have a Safe T Sleep or anything, he just moves free around his cot. Have gone this long without restraint so don't see the point of introducing it now...
