Thats just for your carry on luggage. and it is 100 ml bottles up to a total of 1 L in the clear plastic bag for international flights. You can take 100ml of fluids all up. This includes toothpaste, deoderant or whatever. They must be put in a clear plastic bag. I would take a letter from your Doctor for any medication especially if its liquid.

Can you ring AirNZ and ask them? Even if you're not flying with them they should be able to tell you and they're open 24 hours I think.

I haven't heard that you can't domestically. They're looking at new procedures but they're at least 6 months away.
