12 shows and 3 days later I finally went into labour! My m/w said the same, labour could be weeks away, thank god it wasn't!

ooooooo sounds like things are cranking into gear lucky! i had clear, snot like show which was gone after 2 wipes on 40+5wks, then went into labour at 41wks

i had that with my son. I did a sweep and stretch myself on the monday night, had the show on the tuesday am, and then woke at midnight to start full blown labour at 2am wed am and he was born at 4pm wednesday.

Thanks guys, I am getting quite excited now. Yep I had that at about 1am and then waters broke at 2.30am.

Hiya

I am 4 days overdue now and this morning I noticed alot of egg whitey brownish discharge, which was gone after two wipes (sorry but I warned you it was TMI). Did anyone experience this in the lead up to birth, I'm not sure if I should ring my mw or not as I don't have any other symptoms happening yet, but would like to know if this is normal and if I should worry or not. I don't think its "the show" cos everyone says you will know and I don't think there was enough discharge to say that, that was it. IYKWIM
