I have done the pool thing!! Then left them on the side of the pool and it rained!! Im forever 4getting to check my pockets for bobby pins before i put them in the wash. doesnt make a mess but they get stuck in the bottom and the machine stops rinsing properly! Ah, we've done the nappy here.  Took a fair few rinses to get the crystals all out!  Especially since they'd dried on the clothes on the line already - oh dear!

Dont put disposable breast pads in the washing machine, they absorb so much water they burst open and the gross crystals get through everything.
