Ooooo, cloth nappies!!! Honestly, I don't think anyone had ever seen a MCN! Most of the mums had older kids and had been put off by flats & pins so there were lots of questions. Unfortunately there were a lot of skeptics too! One pregnant mother was very curious though and I tried to answer her questions as objectively as possible but another mother couldn't stop going on about how rediculously expensive they were "$40 for a nappy!" - which I pointed out wasn't true. Anyway, she convinced the pregnant mother to go and get Peapods from Baby City as they're only $20 each, even though I pointed out that good quality nappies had good resale value (and the interfeering mother had never actually used Peapods herself!). I just hope that they work out alright for her as it would be such a shame for her to finally give cloth a go on her 3rd child, only to find they leak

Vic xx
