All my kids have said dad first and i have girl, girl, boy. WHat was the myth??

The myth I heard was that they will say the name of the parent the next child is. ie if Mum is said first, then the next bubs is a girl. The names mum and dad probably come from the sounds babies make, as language develops. Especially with many languages having a similar sounding name for mum and dad.

if you listen to a child pre-mama/dada sound but close, they will make the mmm sound when they are crying and upset, and the dddd sound when they are happy. Language and the titles would have evolved to match the needs of the child.
