Hope you find the source of these sleepless nights - I can sympathise!

x

Infact my doctor said it should improve sleep.

Maybe instead you could go to a counselor or PND support group where you can talk about all your anxieties and concerns, here's a really good start!

x

My doc previously said it is probably anxiety related and suggested anti-anxiety med i.e. anti-depressants.

However, it seems to me that lots of people find their sleep gets worse on those meds, not better! What is your experience?

I feel that committing to taking something like that whilst pregnant is a big call as the safety is not guaranteed so if I do I want to be fairly sure it will be worth it.

I'm also scared about the fact that many people struggle to come off the meds and I don't want to stay on them for a long time as I'm not a medication person (not even Panadol). I find ALL medications, even panadol make me feel full of chemicals.
