Yay recycling! I've used one for a food scraps tin (and clearly labelled it as DH is hopeless!), he doesn't need any in his garage (far more organised in there than in the house - typical male) and will keep a few when he's older for toys. Just seemed crazy that there was no recycling label. For now I'll put the ones I have out with the recycling, but might contact the kindergarten across the road at some stage to see if they want some and I'll save them for them. Thanks for the help, I so didn't want to fill my rubbish bag with them. Daniels fav toy at the mo is a tin with a plastic ball inside. He uses it as a drum and bashes the hell outta it and shakes it like mad listening to the ball roll around inside. They can definitely be recycled. The Karicare tins have the recycling symbol on them. Otherwise as others have suggested, pre-schools etc would love to have them donated!

I put all mine in the recycling as well and like glow never been told that they shouldn't be in there.

OMG formula tins, I have millions of them (empty ones obviously lol). Can you recycle them? I looked at the tin and it doesn't have a symbol anywhere, would be great if we could otherwise I'll have to put them out with the rubbish.
