I look in the pictures sometimes and only the pregnancy months when there is a new month or people are due. I very rarely post in other peoples months (except photos) because I remember it used tor eally annoy me when people would lurk and post in our month lol

I'm liking the idea of un-stickying them... then they'd only show up on the top of the page when new stuff's been added.  'course people will ask for them to be stickied again when they have to go hunting for their month's thread to stick new pics in.  Alas!! 

But here's a random question... do you look in other people's month by month (ie: 'December bubs') photos, or just the month that your child is in?  I occasionally pop into the other months in the pics section but not a lot - though I don't look into the 'month' threads in any of the other sections.  What do other people do?

I think 2 different albums is a good idea too. Is there any way for the photo gallery threads to show up in active topics? DH reckons it's shouldn't be that hard coding wise. It's a PITA that it doesn't. The stickied month threads in the pregnancy/baby/toddler sections won't get too out of control coz as each lot of new babies is born, the previous years bubs move up to Toddler etc. But I agree, the Photo Gallery is a bit messy coz there are 2 years worth of "born in" threads. Easier to find. yeah true, I always miss new posts and since I'm on dial up its a nightmare to go back a page.

Maybe there needs to be two photo galleries?

One for all the bubbas/birth months

One for misc photos (Proud Mummy moments).

The problem I can see with the photo gallery at the moment is that there are going to be another years worth of baby photos which means that of course not only is there the toddler threads, the 2007 threads we are going to run out of room, and the misc photos will drop off as you said.

So maybe we need a Proud Mummy Photo Gallery.
