I agree with Lizzle and Nikki - don't spoil the moment! I've read that at around 24 weeks, if you're in a quiet room and your partner has a listen, then he may just be able to hear it. can't wait for my 24 weeks! hehe. My midwife told me that its not until around at least 12 weeks that they can hear it with a doppler, so I doubt it. Is it possible for my partner to hear the heartbeat. Last night he put his ear on my tummy and reckons he could hear a fast beating sound, faster than the usual heartbeat and he could only hear it faint when all the other tummy noises would stop for a minute.

I wanna have  listen but my necks not long enough lol.
