The swiss ball thing is a good idea, I used a beanbag, I would kneel leaning over it and watch TV. Raw apple can be a common one to set off an attack , that some people don't realise, even the slightest piece, also gassy foods ie cabbage etc... Bad, bad attacks. Had to wait a year on the waiting list because couldn't afford to go private at the time. Had to go on complete fat free diet, after being referred to a dietician in hospital, after another severe attack one night, while waiting on the waiting list.
I didn't have an attack straight after I ate either, it was mostly after I had gone to bed at night.
Couldn't even imagine what it must be like while pregnant! But after I had mine taken out (what a relief!!!) We decided we would have another baby, after having our youngest 13 years prior. After all child birth was nothing in comparision to gall bladder attacks.

Also bubs is in the same position,, was told by my midwife to sit forward when sitting down, with pelvis higher than knees, or sit with chair back to front, leaning on back rest.

Safe pregnancy and speedy recovery!
