And me, we are with state for car and contents, they have been great.

am in love with ami. i hit a guy on the weekend - in the car belonging to my PIL that we are buying - who forgot to tell us that the insurance has lapsed - grrr. anyway, Shane from AMI rang up and once he heard the insurance was lapsed he was super understanding, said that of course AMI didn't want to send us bankrupt - as he said - "we'll never get the money that way", and just said they would make arrangements so we are all happy. I was really impressed and hung up feeling really good (well as good as you can)

We are with AMI for everything - Ive claimed loads!  (My cellphone has a habit of having water spilt on it!) ... and have never had a problem ... and the claims have always been settled really quickly.

We are with state, but will be changing. They were Ok when I got hit and finally got round to paying for my car to be fixed (after 3 weeks of sorting out details) and since we were robbed (about 7-8 weeks ago now) its been nothing but stuff up after stuff up. Took us six weeks of me ringing every 2nd day (and being on hold for 1/2 hour each time) to get everything sorted. The only reason it got sorted so *quickly* was because I rang, they never rang me to tell me that we were getting paid out, and the form had been sitting there for nearly a week ready to go through! Grr! We were with state but changed to AMI last year as they are cheaper, we have home, contents, landlords and two cars insured. we are with AMI and have been for years. i don't think i'll ever leave them   we've got all our insurance with them and over the last 6 mths we've had my glasses, DH's cellphone and 2 windows in the car replaced without any probs and really quickly

State for car and contents. We use our bank (BNZ) and they were absolutely amazing when we had a fire in our house. I've never experienced such awesome service. It was a weekend and they answered their phones promptly. Vero here too for house, contents and car (DP's car is with another company though as he went through a broker and doesn't want to change, even though I'm trying to get him to agree). AA is actually very competitive. If I weren't with Vero I would most likely be with AMI as I believe their cover isone of the better on the market, but you need to take out the extensions (away from home cover, carpet matching, no excess for glass claims etc), which makes it more expensive.

We are with State and they are great. Nigel had an accident (he was not at fault) and the guy who caused the accident had no insurance and tried to claim that DH was at fault even thou the police had been at the scene and knew that the other guy was at fault. State handled everything for us at no charge or excess to us.

We have house, contents and fullcar and 3rd party car on the other one.

We're with State for everything and they have been GREAT!! Never had any issues with them and they have always been quick and good customer service and pay our claims without any issues LOL.
