The second side comes much easier after the first.

You are doing a great job - formula feeding is not at all easier than BF, its just a different set of problems.

    Author: Snickerdoodle
Subject: 15720
Posted: 27 March 2008 at 9:12pm

This has probably been asked a zillion times...

But I'm at my absolute wits end.
I've never had a problem BF'ing Hannah. She's been a dream.
But in the last week she's started to get REALLY fussy!
And it's getting worse and worse each day.

Her middle of the night feed, 1st and 2nd feeds of the day are great. The 3rd and 4th are dicey and her night time feed is impossible!

She latches on for 3 seconds, screams, latches on, screams, latches on, screams etc...
So I try her on the other side. Same thing!
It's driving me nuts.
Unless I express milk and feed her, it takes a good 90 mins and screaming. She ends up REALLY windy and unsettled and sleeps in 2 hour lots at night.

I've had DH sick with a stomach flu for the last 4 days so I've had about 12 hours of broken sleep since Monday morning.
ANY help would be greatly appreciated.
Otherwise I"m going to the supermarket to buy formula
