I was always worried that there wouldnt actually be a baby there even though I had tested positive so wouldnt look at the monitor until I had been told there was a baby. They say dont have the scan if your not prepared to find out if something is wrong but how can you really prepare yourself for that!

Yeh was abit weird in the begining to hear 2 little hearts beating away but when i got used to the fact that i was having twins it was good to hear them and know everything was ok.
I didn't have a nuchal scan because with both my pregnancies i was to far along. Yes it was amazing hearing the heartbeat for the first time. I wish I could have listened to it longer though...

Im hoping that we will see baby a lot better on Thursday when we have the scan.

Im nervous cos Ive been looking on the net what abnormal scans look like and scared that I might see the abnormalities.

Will let you all know anyway how we go.

I didn't believe i was pregnant until i heard bubz heart beat and then for some strange reason i still had doubts and it wasn't until i had my first scan that it really sank in. Nuchal scan, i think that's the 1st one i had too. Yah, I remember that feeling Kellie, its an awesome thing to hear your baby's heart beat. Hmmm I remember seeing the heartbeat on a scan I cried....And every time I heard it I cried....It was the most wonderful thing.

Hi all,

Went to my midwife today and she tried to listen to see if there was a heartbeat and YES there was. It was a healthy, strong heartbeat. It was amazing. Wish my hubby was there to hear. It was so reassuring!!

 

We go for a nuchal scan on thursday so a bit nervous about that.
