I went to the hospital yesterday and saw specialist and he told me I can go ahead and try for baby #2 when Im off my meds so ive made an appointment to see my GP on Monday and hopefully halve my dose again, woohoo!!! ALos doc told me my weight was fine and not to go dieting.. (cool!!) I thought maybe if I lost 10kgs It would help next pregnancy but he didnt seem to think it would make any difference.

He told me that it was rare to get eclampsia again and especially post natal like I did.. He told me that it wsvery rare that I got eclampsia after having baby and shouldnt happen again...

So maybe we can start trying again soon...

I had pre eclampsia with Andrew and I got it again with Josh even thou I was told that there was only a 30% chance of me getting it again so now if I have number 3 i've already been told I can't be under a MW I have to be under a OB and I will be induced at about 35 weeks so I don't have a chance of getting again.

I was about 88kg when I feel pregnant with Josh and only put most of my weight on when I got the dreaded PET again at 35 weeks.

I have decided for me that I HAVE to be at least 75 when we try for number 3 and with the hope that it'll help things but knowing my history it probably won't, hence why my GYNE/OB has already given me some stuff to think about.

My son is now almost 19mths old and hubby and I were looking forward to trying for baby # 2 but because I had alot of trouble in last pregnancy(well just after I had Jaxon) Im really scared that it will happen again or even worse... Hubby and I were talking last night and It hit me hard when Hubby told me the doctors called him aside and told him there was a possibility that I wasnt going to pull through.. I almost died apparently and I just feel really weird now... Its been so long and never really thought about it much.. I knew I was in a bad state cos my bp hit 240/180 and I got treated for Eclampsia..  but its taken over a year to really realise how bad it got..

I have gone to the doctor and she is weaning me off my BP tablets so we can try again and she seems to think my weight is healthy to try again and had Blood tests etc done. But she doest know the full extent of the situation...

I got up to 115kgs and now I am 81kgs and still losing. so feeling muh better but still very scared...but I so badly want another baby..

Hubby and I have decided to leave it now until I can lose another 10kgs so maybe it will be easier next time... ??

I guess I just leave it in the hands of the doctors.. and she has referred me to the hospital so I guess they will be onto it...

Has anyone else gone through this with their pregnancies?? ECLAMPISA..
