I just returned my newborn hire kit of nappies, and it was great. It had a huge selection of different types and brands of nappies. Have a look here Its the hire kit list from the nappy network.

Mine was $80 for 8 weeks, including courier both ways. I live in Ohope and I don't think they have any programs down here, but there's a nappy expo in Hamilton this weekend (i think!) I spent $400 on my first set of nappies when Seb was a couple of months old. I hated them. Not only was it $400 down the drain that we really couldn't afford, but it put me off using cloth till a couple of months ago. she definitley did use to - one of my faves for toby overnight is a wigglebum... i see on her website she has pocket fitteds but none in stock at the moment. i have a joel eze one size fitted and i love it - it is my fave night nappy for toby with a bkt booster added. But i know they arent everyones cup of tea tho...

otherwise see if you can get a designer bums - can be a bit pricey but they are fab too - or the debbies - reynolds and smith - both sell on TM.

I would say try a Baby Beehinds if you can stand the price - they are OSFA, but more like OSFM, not so good for the large (at least in the thigh/waist) but would definately fit a 7kger for a long while. They are very trim and pretty absorbant esp for the size as they are bamboo - takes a full day to dry on the line and another in the hot water cubboard here (probably only a day in full summer) but totally worth it esp for a night nap IMO.

I have no personal experience with fitted nappies but if it were me I'd try a Baby Beehind (OSFA) and a Swaddlebees OV (OSFA) - the BB looks really slim fitting and the SB is a good trim cut as well. I'm sure there's someone else with better practical experience, I'm just dreaming

Now, I know most people love pocket nappies, but they not really doing it for me.

Up until now I've been mostly a prefold and wrap girl, but after ordering some medium sized bummis wraps I've decided I'm really over scrubbing poo off covers.

So I was thinking about getting a few fitted naps to use with my new bummis covers.

I've got some "plain pants" fitteds from snazzipants, and while they are quite absorbant I don't like how the moisture goes right up around her waist. Does this happen with all fitteds?

So I was thinking about getting some snazzipants fitteds, but size 1 goes up to 10kgs, but she is 7kgs now so they might not fit for long. But I've heard that they tend to fit quite a bit past 10kg - anyone had this experience?

Any other brands to recommend (esp OSFA)?

Anyone tried the joel-eze OSFA fitted (they are on special atm)?
