Author: babyg
Subject: 15992
Posted: 07 April 2008 at 1:29am

Our girl had the yucky red marks in her creases (neck, underarms etc) and also had dryskin pretty much all over her body, but mostly cheeks (facial) and torso. We didn't think much of it, putting the dry skin down to the fact that we didn't use moisteriser or lotion on her and the crease marks down to 'moist areas'. At 5mths old however, a new Plunket Nurse saw her and suggested we visit a doc, which we did and she was diagnosed with eczema (both the dry skin and red creases were from the condition). So I'd say if your bub has combination of both, then it could be eczema otherwise probably just a dribble rash which could be fixed as per the previous responses.

Good luck.

First I thought it's just the heat and maybe milk running down her neck, so I am cleaning it every morning, drying it and put some organic baby lotion on. It doesn't seem to improve yet. I was wondering if it could be excema. Any suggestions?
