I was able to get a good sized bottle into Tyde if I fed him beofre I went to bed, he was basically still asleep.. this would be his ONE good bottle of the day at that age, the rest was just 'playing' and mummy stressing!!!! so you could try that??? have you tried giving her her formula in a sipper cup?? or Tyde really liked these cheap little cups with a lid and a straw that you could get in the plastics section in the supermarket.. then she may be more interested drinking/sucking it out of the straw.. Tyde was anyway!
good luck!!!

My doctor told me to ensure Daniel got at least 300ml per day, that was the absolute minimum before worrying about dehydration.

When are her nap times? We moved Daniel to 4 feeds about then (with another in the early hours of the morn if needed but not always)..

So he would get up have a bottle, then brekkie and play.. bottle right before nap time. Then lunch and another bottle before his next nap and the final bottle before bed time for the night. He drinks far more when his solids were right in between his bottles.

    Author: BabyKiwi
Subject: 16058
Posted: 06 April 2008 at 3:23pm

DD suffers from reflux and is on Karicare AR formula, losec and she also takes 3 solids a day as well.

Over the last week she hasn't been taking as much of her milk as I would like. She is having 150ml at 6.30am, then 50ml at 10am and her museli, 50ml at 2pm and her solids then 50ml at 5pm and her dinner.

She isn't unhappy, only had 1 flare up of the reflux, which was today. She is also waking at 3am the last couple of nights, definately not happy about this!! Which I think is because she isn't drinking as much, or could be teething!

We changed her milk to follow on and she would drink more of this but she seems to be hungrier more on this, Is it possible she isn't that hungry?? Should I drop a feed to see if this will encourage her to drink more??

Any advice would be grately appreciated on this!! Thanks!!
