Sorry Janine, don't really know where you get those babies from but if you ever find out could you let me know lol. I have the opposite problem, I have a baby that sleeps all night but will hardly sleep thru the day, he only had 2hrs the other day and by then end of the day was the grumpiest baby you ever did see.

Yeah, it's pronounced like the word Asia, just with a little more J sound than s... but when you say it fast and often - it just sounds like asia.. so i don't really worry too much about it - only get annoyed when people say her name as if they were referring to a-jar of jam lolol..

can i please just say - where do i get one of these amazing babies.. was gonna start a new post but might hijack this one since we are on the subject..

I can't take it much longer, i have a good little girl - who, up until she started daycare at 3 months old, was a great sleeper and great drinker and very nice to be around... i felt great this time round, and lucky i had such an easy going child...

now, Ayja is still the most fun to be around, but i have a little girl who has only just gone to bed. she had one sleep today from 12 until about 2.30 - and after that I held her out till about 7pm, cos even though she was tired at 5 ish i thought that if i put her down then she'd do her her usual and only sleep an hour before waking. so i gave her dinner, gave her a bath and a nice feed, and put her to bed. - one hour later, she wakes up. and will not go back to bed - she screams hard out, i have tired the leaving to cry, i have tried the resettling, all things that worked with Paris when she was little. I have even done the naughty thing of feeding to sleep - nup, you put her in that bed and before you leave the room she is standing up in the cot screaming. The only way she will settle is if i go to bed - which i usually end up doing because by the time we have exhausted all efforts, it is usually around this time, if not later! and the annoying thing is, even if she goes down to sleep at 10.30pm... she will always always always wake again at 11 pm for her last feed, NO MATTER WHAT.

She WILL NOT take the bottle - so i do not know if that would be the answer, i often wonder if it would - but 99% of the time she refuses to even have a feed when she wakes anyway. so i cannot assume it's hunger.

all i now, is i am going nuts, actually, i probaqbly have already GONE. I am a walking zombie. I am getting up to her more often than i did when she was a baby and everything at our house is falling apart cos i am the grumpiest, sickest, nastiest mummy you could ever hope you didn't meet.

Um, Brooke is on formula full time and heaps better. I think she just waking up once in the night and goes to bed nice and early for them. This is my cousin Jack. He's looking for a lil lady around the 1 and a bit year mark. He is nearly 18 months old. He is upwardly mobile (well, front ways, anyhow..)sharply dressed (runs in the family)and is very quiet. Would suit a bossy lil lady. xxx Jake
