If you want more accurate temperatures, getting a BBT thermometer is best that reads temps to 2 decimal places. I used a standard digital one - it recorded temps to 1 decimal place. I know it is recommended to use a BBT thermometer, but I am wondering if anyone has used just a normal household one and not had a problem with charting?
