I dunno why they break, I had the same problem with my ex. Can I ask why they broke on a regular basis? Maybe you should buy bigger ones? We found that the normal ones broke all the time so now have to shell out for bigger ones. I'd say pill and condoms too.

I wouldn't say Depo as it can take a long time afterwards for your cycles to return to normal which is not good if you want to TTC soon after.

After seeing my friend go through a huge bout of depression after taking the depo I think I'd rather have no sex!

How regular are your cycles? I'm not using any contraception, just monitor my cycles and don't do it around the middle. In saying that, I would probably be more inclined to do something more if there was a medical reason I shouldn't get pg.

how about doubling up. Take the pill or injection AND condoms. And then if condom breaks you could get emergency pill (or maybe thats too many). I remember when I first looked at contraception (and was terrified I would get pregnant) we used pill and condoms.

Since I'm not allowed to get preggers until Sept at the earliest and knowing that my sex drive is non existant because I don't trust our contraception and the thought of getting preggers until I'm allowed to freaks me out completely.. I kinda need some help..

What would you do contraception wise given the below facts...

1. Condoms break on a pretty regular basis when we use them so I don't trust them
2. Daniel is a pill baby so I don't trust that now either - and I had been taking it for years, I didn't skip a pill, I wasn't ill or anything.
3. Mini pill is less reliable than combined pill.
4. I'm not allowed an IUD, as they don't the egg being fertilised, they just stop implantation in the uterus and since I've had an ectopic it's highly likely if I an IUD I'd end up with another ectopic.
