When I spoke to one of the plunket ladies the other day she suggested giving water at that time, and then he may start thinking that if that's all he's going to get, then he may not wake up - ie not to make it comfortable (for lack of a better word). Haven't started yet, as I need to get his day sleeps sorted again, before I do this.

Is Megan on solids yet? I know some babies, start waking again at night when they are about ready for solids (in fact most people ask me if he's on solids when I say he's back to not sleeping thru).

Don't know whether this post would be any help to you. We're not using a dummy, but have tried stretching it out at times too,

linky

Edited by MonicaMouse
