They are great, and all their breakfast cereals are hubbards, without the packaging they're loads cheaper.

I go there for all my spices, and rock salt and whole peppercorns.

There's one in Brown's bay and one in Whangaparoa but I think that's it for Akl now.

I used to go to Bin-Inn during my student days as it was a good place to spend my food budget!! Anyone know if there are any left in Auckland? I know the one in Palmy (my in-laws live close to it) but havent seen one up here for years...

Binn Inn (AKA Steve's Bulk Barn) and I LOVE IT!

For anyone in Palmy who hasn't or doesn't know about it, it's a bulk bin shop. It's got most of the ecostore range, which you just bring your empty bottles in and refill (rather than pay for more recycling that the council refuses to pick up...)

It's got home made peanut butter, bulk sweets, bread that is a good quality - RiverMill for 1.10(!!!) a loaf, its got gallon drums of laundry powder, spices that I've never heard of in PaknSave, and if you spend over $100 they give you a $2 worth gift! We got 4 KitKats and a lolly packet.

Our normal shop at PaknSave is usually from $140-190. Less a few items, we spent $110 today.
