She has been on formula for quite a while now so maybe not that...might be the anitbiotics/cough medicine that she has been on, they are both pinky red colours. That is weird.

That's right emz, nothing on the actual nappy or the liner. Very strange.

We strip with about a small cup (size that comes in ecostore box) of vinegar, same amount of baking soda, same amount sensitive wash powder and 1 cap of canesten. I scrub the nappies with dishwash liquid first and rinse before washing with above concoction. I think sometimes it can just be a freakish thing? Cos we sometimes get orange/pink bits on our BG inserts, but nothing on the disposable liner right next to his bum.

As an aside, what do you do to strip your nappies? Just do a wash with vinegar? If so, how much? I'm so confused. it comes out in the wash...but it is there before we wash the nappy (straight after we change her), which is the most worrying part.

I've had this too. Is it quite bright pink? Any ideas what this is? I don't think it is blood as there is no sign anywhere else on the nappy. It only occurs when she has No:2's and is light pink in colour.
