Rhyley was happy to stand with us and play but there was a toddler who mustn't of slept and walked around alot didn't bother anyone though.

Anyway once again the only time Rhyley got upset was when he was straped to me for landing.

Time changes haven't been too bad either.

Hopefully going home is as good as coming here its an earlier flight so not too sure he will sleep this time.

Let him look out the window. Smile at the people behind you - ella has habit of looking over seat, eyeing them up and going "hiiii" in a sweet you cant tell me off way! Smiles help them adore your child....I alway say sorry....but they never seem to mind...luckily!

take snacks - small bikkies etc...and a pump bottle etc so you dont have to call for food and drink when it is demanded!
Take a blanket or ask for one when you get on so if he wants to snuggle up with you he can.
then the flight will be over before you know it......

She was 12mths. We took 2 bottles and a water bottle. One for take-off and One for landing (to help pop ears), books, toys and snacks. Luckly our flights also worked into nap times so she slept for 1.5hrs on the way over and slept for the entire flight back home. On the way over, Zoe (and I) walked up and down the aisles for a bit looking at all the different passengers. And she liked opening and closing the window blind.

I flew with Pacific Blue and I was allowed to take on as many bottles and as much food as I needed for Zoe during the flight. They were really good.

With baggage, Zoe was allowed 5kgs, which came off my allowance, but, the total of all her stuff is allowed to exceed the 5kgs, they just say its 5kgs. We took a stroller, port-a-cot, backpack, carseat, and her clothes. Does that make sense?

I think though that you'll have your mind on so many other things anyway, that the flight will just whiz by! DD was only 4mos when we took her to oz so the flight was a breeze - we are going overseas again in less than two months but this time it will be 14 hours in the air so I will be watching this thread with anticipation.
