Nah, neil would freak if he thought I put my cloth pads in the normal wash, like I do a separate wash just for half a dozen or so pads. My hubby is the same! He loves we don't have to buy any of the disposable products! My dad was funny though:
My text to him: "Dad, I may have left my mooncup at your house. It is in a little cream cotton bag with 'mooncup' written on it. What ever you do - DON'T OPEN IT!"

I called him a while later and asked if he'd found it, again worrying that he'd opened it. Luckily he hadn't found it but...

Dad: "We'd better make sure you get it back straight away!"
Me: "Ermmm yes, I know, that's why I called. A couple of days ago would have been better but whatever"
Dad: "Well we don't want any more little Hannah's running around"
Me: "What?... what do you think it is Dad?"
Dad: "Isn't it one of those contraceptive thingies?"
