Ugh I hate the chinese laundry look but it was a necessity all last winter.  We don't have a drier either, and wouldn't have anywhere to put one if we did.  This year our lounge is smaller and it'd be impossible to dry a couple of loads, so DH built a wooden clothes rack that sits up by the ceiling over the fire, and moves up & down with a pulley.  It ROCKS!!!!

we do but it is used for our towels so it is really our linen cupboard..

with any luck we will be making a trip to buy a dryer this weekend :)

Do you have a hot water cupboard. I hang washing out first thing in morning, then make sure to get it in around 3pm. We used our dehumidifier for a while as we had it on anyway. It worked great. I have the same issue...(now we have a HRV and don't use the dehumidifier) I put our laundry on clothes racks and put them in front of our ranchslider where they get the morning sun. I am in the same boat and I have a garage but still end up drying in dryer as there is no wind flow. Don't you just love Hamilton!!!

Do you have dehumidifier? I have just got DH to bring our dryer up from the shed. We have never used it in this house - but with baby clothes, it is hard to keep up!!

arghh I am feeling rather frustrated..lol stupid weather takes ages for our clothes to dry.

we dont have a dryer or even a garage just a carport and even hanging them under there wont get them dry quickly if the weather is not too good.

at the moment I have about 3 loads of washing waiting to be hung out plus about 2-3 loads on the line which still is not dry.
