I'm not getting anything for Mothers Day this year. I could hope for a certain 4 year old to behave but that would be a miricle. My MIL is cooking us dinner thou - so that is a bonus I don't have to cook!!!!

Me and my little sister will ring our mum tomorrow morning when my sister staggers back to my place from her friends.

When I was at the supermarket I was going to buy some chocolate that I liked to give to DH to then give to me on Mothers Day.....but changed my mind at the check out counter. My DH doesn't do mothers day at all. I was gutted last year as it was my first one and I'm used to baking and making things for my Mum.

But I still get ya...i.e. the 1980 frugal chef book instead of the destitute gourmet!!!

So i told my husband i wanted belgian chocolates or whitakers macadamia block...

so he comes home with an expensive box of crap french chocolates instead. and they were yuck...
