And you can get nose-clearing thingies... some of them are battery powered and pricey (I have no idea how those ones work!) but for a few bucks you can get a 'bulb' one shaped like a tiny balloon - you squeeze some air out of it, pop it in the nose and let it inflate again.  It's gentle, a little gross, but helpful if baby's nose is beyond all other help!

Saline drops are good or you can just boil some water, put a pinch of salt in and wait till it cools. Eucalpytus oil is great. Ifyou have an oil burner, just use that in his room before he goes down for naps. Or pop a couple of drops on a wipe or flannel near his cot. Hi, my 7 week old has caught a cold off me and wondering if anyone has any suggestions of what to do to ease him? I have given him some pamol initally - he has a blocked nose, sneezing more than usual and a slight cough.
