How do you find the shelf bras go for you? lol yea.. I mean it's all about being functional, but you still gotta feel kinda nice I guess!
If they only made the size larger then we wouldnt have this issue - the cup sizes are perfectly fine! well im a DD pre maternity and was a EE when breastfeeding number one. They have the shelf bras in Farmers - nurture I think they are called. I'll be getting some of those.

I was an DD before I got pregnant just up to an E now, how long before they stop growing and I should buy a proper maternity bra? I'm still in underwire at the moment and not uncomfortable yet, but really not sure when I should upgrade.

Just make sure the bras aren't too tight once your milk comes in - my MW has warned me about that! Apparently it can lead to mastitis etc if your boobs don't have enough room to move!

Went to farmers today and had a good lol @ the range they have. I know what you mean about wearing triumph and feeling like a cross between a nanna and madonna! AND they're horribly expensive.
Ended up going to on of the bigger warehouses and got some extremely unflattering bras there - they had a pretty good range, but again, the sizes were small, but they're affordable at least.
Those shelf bra singlets are on special too - buy one get one free @ $12.99 each. I was a 12G to start with, and gone up 2-3 cup sizes to around a 12H/12J, so I know what you mean!

I order ALL my bras from Blestbras (the link is already in a previous post) in Australia, and they do have a really good returns policy if you're not happy with anything. I have found that hardly any manufacturers make above a G cup, but blestbras stock the UK brands Freya and Fantasie, which have a much larger selection. I have never been a fan of triumph (I feel like a cross between Madonna and a nana), but the other ranges are really good. It can take a couple of weeks to get your order (if it's not in stock), but they're normally pretty good.

I love Fayreform, and they have a really nice maternity bra (yes, only one!) up to a H/J cup, and would love them or Bendon to do more, but it seems us well-endowed girls get a bit of a rough deal!

The bras are always going to cost more (average price around $80 - 100), but unfortunately that's the way it is!

Hi Miss Angel, it really sucks doesnt it! I was an E cup before I got pregnant.....so always knew I was in for a challenge!!! I bought the Triumph ones, as they were most comfortable and seemed to offer the best support.....the downside is that they are boring colours / boring design! But if I had been b/f longer I was going to dye the white / beige ones funky colours!

I know what you mean. I emailed Bendon to ask what they could suggest for someone larger than their maternity bra size. They told me to google my bra size - not very helpful.   I did find a very comfortable Triumph bra at a Arthur Barnetts, if you have one of those, it was less than $60 too which is a score in my size.

If you are in Auckland there is a fantastic lady out West that does bra fittings at her home and sells really supportive Triumph bras. I am using the same ones from last time round at the moment but I hate them, they don't fit right and don't feel supportive at all.....I hate them!

Maya put me onto blest bras and I got a fantastic one from there. They have a great return policy too if it doesn't fit.

Edit to add: Totally feel your frustration. Bendon are daft not to release things in larger sizes.

Man I'm having such a hard time trying to find maternity bras to fit! *pulls her hair out*

I bought a hot milk one a few months ago which was a 16F (nice large fitting sizes, i'm usually a 22DD pre preg) but now it's too tight! I've looked all thru farmers/warehouse/kmart/trademe but with no luck and dont even get me started on the retarded motherlove range from bendon that goes up to a 16D in most styles.. I mean COME ON! the average breastfeeding girl is larger than a bloody D cup.

So what do I do? I need some sort of support (I'll get some little tank tops for at home) and I just cant find anything ARGH!
