Isla doesnt have anything, but twirls her hair when shes really tired. Alize loves his ear and head. He will rub these when tired and going to sleep.

Mercedes loved putting her fingers in her eear as a baby and toddler and once in a big bed loves a bumpy pillow.

Lesieli loved hands when she was young until 5. She would cry for a hand to pinch while tired, sick or going to sleep. Drove me nuts and used to have all my friends in fits of laughter.

And I still have my comfy habit. My all time fave bumpy pillow that I cant live without. It is soo old but I could never part with it. It has been with me for every hosp stay including the 3 kids birth and all over NZ on holiday....I heart my bumpy pillow!

Sienna has a blankie which if we loose we are in deep poop we have already had to have the mass search for it at daycare lol.

Luke has a muzzie well sometimes three in his cot. He only sleeps with them but if i 'm folding the washing and he spots one that's it he grabs it and crawls away.!!

I tell yah there are muzzies stashed all around the house this morning i found one in his toy box hidden away.

Yes both of my little ones have a must toy! Holly has a soft toy puppy that she takes everywhere she also sucks her thumb and Callum has a polar fleece blanket that he calls Lala he has a blue one and green one but prefers the blue one and we are in trouble if ever lose puppy as we cant replace it

Totally!   Michaela's had a little lamb in her cot since before she was born and has been given heaps of soft toys in the intervening years but she was given her little teddy bear in March this year and now she won't go to bed without it, and on the occasions that she swtiches into my bed she always brings her teddy with her.

The ear grabbing started later on too.

Hannah didn't start sucking her thumb until about 18 months old and the tog thing happened soon after. Before that she wasn't attached to anything! LOL Gen we had the same washing issues with Fussy, Fussy is a dime a dozen doll but when we bought a second one Maya told us on no uncertain terms that it is "Fussy Fake". Now she lets us wash her (sometimes) but she is so old and worn that she is permanently grey. She also sucks her tongue like Mel's Ella, we call it the "Fussy tongue".

Mercedes has "Peter", a stuffed Peter Rabbit with a blanket and a mirror on his tummy that we got at the Baby Factory. We were onto it with her tho and as soon as we realised she was attached, we bought a second one, and now she'll take either one no problems, sometimes she lugs them both around.

Sienna used to suck her wrist, even as a newborn, and hated being wrapped because of it. I tried giving her a Jemima Puddleduck (the same as Mercedes Peter) a Care Bear, and a muslin but she wasn't having any of it. Then at Xmas we were in Oz and she took a shine to a bunny rabbit that belonged to my sister, and my sister let her have it, so now it's her "Bubba Bunny". Duplicates don't work Paws. My mum loves to tell us how my sister left her toy monkey on the train and so mum purchased another one, even bit off the plastic fingers on the right hand - she always new it wasn't the real Wovely and from then on it was just another toy and she turned who heart to her bear. Have you tried including her in the process of washing Pooh? Like a game, wash some of the others toys and get her to help hand wash Pooh and then hang him on the line - just not by an ear or a foot or an arm - better to make a rope sling

tobys is my boobies...   even now when he hasnt had a bf since july... he loves to snuggle up to them or blow raspberries on them or just touch them...

Michaela's is a bit weird. She grabs an ear (mine or DH's preferably but her own will do) and holds/kneeds/strokes the lobe with her thumb and forefinger.
