Even though bubs isn't that big, your uterus goes through a lot of changes and stretches to allow for all the changes that are going on in your body....it's just like people having a bump at 10 weeks or times like that, when bubs is actually only about an inch long.....does that make any sense? I think that although baby is still quite small the uterus still starts to expand. I know that by 12 weeks it can be felt above the pelvis so it has to get there.
Also I have just had a scan because of pain on the right hand side and it is being caused by the folicle that is left behind when the egg is released. Its known as a pregnancy cyst, so perhaps it could be that. I've also seen someone on here saying its stretching, but haven't heard that before reading it here.
I have been having similar 'pains'. It sounds like its quite common so I'm trying not to stress too much! Yeah Id say they could be inplantation pains aswell, I had a few weird niggles in early pregnancy, like little sharpish twinges down low. As long as the pain isnt server or you dony have any bleeding or bad cramps Id say you are fine.

These could be implantation pains. Nothing to worry about unless you start excessively bleeding (implantation pains are sometimes accompanied by slight spotting).

I had slight pains at around 5 weeks. Painful enough but they went away and my mw said they were normal.

Hi Guys,

I'm 4 weeks on and am having painful twinges. Is this normal at all? No bleeding at all. Just a bit nervous I guess due to the m/c last month.

And OMG these hormones I driving me insane. I was driving down the road today and started crying cause the leaves were such a pretty colour. Now I'm crying at infomercials!
