I do beleive if she is staying over night in a country then you can get duty free in that country as if you are getting Duty free in NZ then stay at Holland - you can pack it in your luggage and then get more duty free. But if there is liquids more than 100mls in her duty free from leaving in NZ they will take (or could) take it off her in Singapore even though she will be in transit.

As far as I am aware each country has different limits. It doesnt matter where you carry the tobbacco or alcohol either on you or in your luggage it is still counted towards your total limit.

Not sure what airport she is flying into but this may help if its Heathrow airport.

So if she is in Holland for a few weeks she could buy some more on her way back to London as they stuff she had brought in NZ would now be in her luggage???

Allowances aside - make sure you keep in mind that she will be "LAG" checked at EVERY stopover on her flights -- basically meaning liquids (including lipgloss, mascara, creams, etc) over 100ml will be taken off her if they're not in her checked luggage - even if she's only just bought them at the last dutyfree stop.

Ok first one Duty Free: My nana is flying out to Europe tomorrow for 3 months, she is flying PN - Auckland - Singapore - London - Holland and then Ireland - London, and then heaps more after that. How much duty free can she get?? Singapore and London are stopovers but they are staying in Holland for a while as with Ireland before they finally see my sister in London.

Tobacco: Does anyone know the name of the tobacco that has licorice flavouring in it??
