Think I just lost some more of my plug.

The other night I had a **gush** of icky gooey yellow stuff, the most Id seen in my liner ever.
Then this morning during special cuddles I had like....a stringy icky white stuff come out(TMI! sorrryy) I didnt notice, it was DF who went 'YUCK" and I looked and went "OH!!" lol

Do you think it was more of my plug coming away? Hehe I guess I find it hard to do nothing at all cos Ive been home since January(when I hurt my back) and Im getting past the point of being bored lol.

At night though I just rest on the couch with my hot water bottle and blanket And its nice and relaxing.

I had blood on the loo paper at midnight, Hannah was born 13.5 hours later.
My waters broke seconds before she came out...
So everyone's different..
But, textbook wise, it sounds promising!!
YAY!

I say Thursday (sorry!), 8lb4oz. 52cm at 4:14am!

Like a few ladies have said, rest rest rest. Honestly. As happy as you'll be to have your boy, you'll also be begging for sleep when he arrives

I just hope that pain eases off for you
Once he's here, the relief will be instant! I felt like I was floating on air.
The mw was laughing at me, trying to walk the 10 feet to the shower afterwards. She said I looked like I was walking on the moon! It's awesome!

I am still waiting for it over a year later!!

 

Me 2.  Cooper was 8 days early and I'd had two real painful "pains" while I was out shopping and that was it, next minute I was in hospital having my baby.  I regretted not going to bed earlier and not having relaxed that day. (instead I'd done housework etc).

Best not to get your hopes up, but Miss S came over a week early - so you never know

Edited to add - I know it sounds hard but do but try and relax and enjoy a last day or so of peace and quiet if you can. Even if it is just sitting down and watching a movie or something. I regret not getting to do that and always thinking it was ok because i had another week or so to have that relaxing day!
I am still waiting for it over a year later!!

Yep have dropped heaps, he is pretty much fully engaged

Im sleeping ok at night apart from getting up to pee, my Tri-Pillow rocks

ive had a bath tonight and that has eased the nerve pain sooo much plus Ive had the hot water bottle behind me, so when ever it plays up im gonna put the hot water bottle there cos it seems to do the trick yay!

Yeah Ive been feeling increasingly icky since I started getting all those BH contractions the other day, and tonight Im feeling all flushed and blahhh, hard to explain lol.

BTW, I didn't have a show until Sam was about to be born and it all came at once.

Oh, and the day before my waters broke I just felt icky and awful all day! Sounds like what my show was like, I went into labour 4 days after mine. I say Wednesday (because no one else has picked that yet, I don't think!) and 7lb4oz.

No the difference between a show with no colour and a bloody one is that when theres blood its your cervix starting to dilate but no colour means things are just getting ready but could still be a while. It was only a little one....does that count? I always thought the 'show" had to be a big glob of gooey stuff....
Thats why i thought this could just be the start of it...

Ooo this is so exciting. I can't remember statistics but is something like 80% of women go into labour within 48 hours of having a bloody show.

I'm guessing Monday at 7am 7lb 4oz

Oo Sheena I so hope it's a show! Mine was like that too. I had it only a couple of hours before going into full on labour (waters breaking, contractions etc). I wasn't sure at first if that was what it was, it's wasn't like a massive plug, just little bits.

but not to dampen your spirits....some ladies still don't go into labour til a week or so after having a show........although with the cramps you've been having lately, you probably won't have to wait too long

mine looked like thick clear 'snot' and only noticed it when i went to the loo...took a couple of wipes to get it all....that was saturday, then went into labour late monday.

It definitly didnt look like waters, but yep my midwife has told me if I start leaking waters and its brown or green then to ring her right away,

I just been loo, and on my pad in a lil bit of brown and when I wiped it was quite mucusy(sp?) and had lil bits of browny looking stuff in it. Could this be the start of my show???
